Stunning scenery, premium drop in Australia’s oldest wine region, tastes of smelly cheese, and eight kilometres of walking paths through artistry of gardens.
Travel across Sydney Harbour Bridge and leafy Northshore suburbs to escape the city. Soak up the stunning scenery as we cut through sandstone hills, while passing national parks with dense cover of the eucalyptus trees. Cross picturesque Hawkesbury River home to pearl and oyster farms. After brief refreshment stop, country road will lead you via Cessnock town centre to the first winery.
Spread across 14 hectares encompassing 10 internationally themed gardens to explore, there is something for everyone, including the ever-popular Storybook Garden. 8 km of pathways will lead you to spectacular vistas including a 10 m high waterfall, topiary displays, man-made ponds, statues, murals, beautiful architectural structures and much more. In the Gardens there are 6,000 trees, 600,000 shrubs and over 1 million ground covers to discover from Australia and around the world.
Begin your own wine story with the visit to two out of over 150 wineries; meet the makers, get their riddles and relish in premium wine tasting. Surrounded by undulating vineyards with wild kangaroos about, no matter what season, there is always time to appreciate glass of good wine.
Enjoy casual, fresh, and delicious one course a’ la carte lunch with complimentary glass of wine, beer, or soft drink in one of the Hunter Valley’s celebrated restaurants. All efforts are made to cater for most dietary restrictions. However, they must be clearly advised at the time of booking.
The valley makes exceptional dairy products, including hard-rind and soft cheeses. Sample from different varieties and find your new favourite while getting your questions answered by the shop connoisseurs.

Our driver guide will pick you up at one of our meeting points or selected hotels conveniently located in the CBD (downtown). If you are unsure which location is nearest to your accommodation do not hesitate in contacting us or ask your hotel concierge.
We are devoted to maximising time on tour rather in transit, and whenever possible to stay away from the city traffic congestion. However, we are happy to pick up less-mobile passengers at CBD (downtown) hotels upon request.
Please note that special pick up arrangements cannot be guaranteed at the time of booking and availability will be confirmed by email.
