PRICING

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and Goods and Service Tax inclusive. Rates are excluding road tolls, entry to national parks or parking fees unless stated otherwise. Rates for tours and charters, extended touring, driver guide services are calculated from point to point (or depot to depot).

PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information you provide are kept confidential, secure, and strictly used only for the purpose it was collected. However, some details may be shared with third party supplier in connection to your reservation, or government agencies if required by law. Our delegates may organise group photo opportunities as part of trip experiences. Such photos may be shared to our company social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn. We will not share the images with anyone for any use other than for Wachtl Australia promotion. Please remove yourself from the group photos if you choose not to participate.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION FEES

Travel agents and operators with established credit facilities approved by Wachtl Australia will be billed after completion of the service; invoice is required to be paid by the due date to void late payment charges of 0.3 % per day. Non-contractors must fully pre-pay all agreed services; if there is any outstanding balance by the day due stated on invoice, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. Any last-minute add-on services or arrangements must be paid on the day in cash or by credit card. Electronic payments to Wachtl Australia’s account must be received in full; any bank processing fees including credit card or PayPal fees are bearable by the payer. We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express. Overseas transactions are converted by the accountholder’s bank, typically at currency exchange rate effective at the time of payment. Once your payment is received and tour services confirmed, following cancelation fees will apply.

In addition to our cancellation fees, all cancellation fees levied by hotels, attractions and third party suppliers will be passed on. Cancellations will only be accepted in writing and terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received. Cancellation terms of multiple services and packages will apply from the first service to commence.

AIRPORT

Should there be any disruption or delay it will be responsibility of the passenger to contact Wachtl Australia or the operator with whom the next service is to be carried out to prevent any no-show or non-arrival charges. Should the aircraft’s scheduled time of arrival change under any circumstances, we will endeavour to accommodate those changes without any additional charges wherever possible. Driver-guides will be stand-by at domestic airports luggage carousel 20 minutes after actual landing, and at international airports in the arrival hall (past customs) 40 minutes after actual landing. Airport parking fee will be charged accordingly for the time spent at the airport. Passengers must ensure that they have proper travel documents and need to check with the respective consulate to determine whether any visas are required.

TOUR

Whilst we endeavour to operate the program as advertised, we reserve the right to cancel tours, amend prices and itineraries if necessary. Propagation images are indicative only and may not reflect specific destinations visited. Small Group (public) Tours operate with minimum of 6 passengers; should the tour be cancelled due to insufficient number of participants client will be offered alternative tour date or full refund. We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations if such failure is due to Force Majeure or other event beyond the reasonable control of Wachtl Australia, including but not limited to the third-party default, strike, act of criminal activity, weather, or natural disaster. Every effort will be made to keep to arrival and departure times; however, they are indicative only and no guarantee can be made, and no compensation shall be payable in the event of loss due to missed connection(s).

SAFETY

Safety of all passengers is our highest priority and Wachtl Australia guarantees compliance with all appropriate state laws. Under the Passenger Transport Act 2014 passengers of a motor vehicle that is moving, or is stationary but not parked, must wear seatbelt. All passengers younger than 12 months must be secured in a rearward facing child restraint. Booster cushions for older kids are available upon request. In accordance with Wachtl Australia’s Safety Management System policy no passengers under the age of 12 years are allowed in the front row or any other seat fitted with airbag. Passengers are to show diligence and their own duty of care. It is recommended that all passengers take out their own personal travel insurance as Wachtl Australia and associates are not liable for death, illness, injury to any person, or loss of or damage to any property or otherwise however is caused. Children under 18 must be accompanied by parent or responsible guardian.

ON BOARD CONDUCT

Passengers must not place feet or bags on seat, smoke, spit, eat, drink (except water), use offensive language or behave offensively, interfere with equipment or damage vehicle, drop, or leave rubbish, throw anything in or from vehicle, put out any body parts through windows. Passengers are financially responsible for any damage they directly or indirectly cause to the vehicle, or to our and third-party supplier’s property.

LOST AND FOUND

Any lost and found belongings must be collected from our depot within 14 days; postage and handling costs are payable by the client should we post those upon request.

Please allow sufficient time to clear all procedures (International 60 min, Domestic 30 min) as additional charges for airport parking may apply.

Cruise Terminal pick up:
Please nominate one of the two cruise terminals in Sydney. Overseas Passenger Terminal in The Rocks, or White Bay Cruise Terminal in Rozelle. Check your boarding pass for disembarkation time.

Hotel pick up:
If unknown, please let us know if you are planning to stay within 2 km radius of CBD (downtown) or any other location outside this radius, such Manly, Coogee, Olympic Park, etc.

Private Residence pick up:
Please submit complete address including house number, street name and suburb.

Airport drop off:
Please allow sufficient time for check in, security and immigration procedures. Airlines recommend arriving at international terminal 3.5 hrs prior and domestic terminal 1.5 hrs prior the departure.

Cruise Terminal drop off:
Please nominate one of the two cruise terminals in Sydney. Overseas Passenger Terminal in The Rocks, or White Bay Cruise Terminal in Rozelle. Check your boarding pass for embarkation time.

Hotel drop off:
If unknown, please let us know if you are planning to stay within 2 km radius of CBD (downtown) or any other location outside this radius, such Manly, Coogee, Olympic Park, etc.

Private Residence drop off:
Please submit complete address including house number, street name and suburb.
